Establishment of the Learning Lab on Public Procurement and Human Rights

We established the International Learning Lab on Public Procurement and Human Rights in partnership with the Harrison Institute for Public Law at Georgetown University and the Danish Institute for Human Rights.

The Learning Lab is a network of government policy makers, government procurement agencies and procurement officers, NGOs, academics, national human rights institutions, regional and international organizations, and other relevant actors. The platform is a global network that allows for experience sharing amongst procurement actors on approaches to integrating respect for human rights, generating knowledge about public procurement law and policy and human rights, producing and disseminating tools and guidance to build capacity to integrate human rights issues amongst procurement professionals as well as promoting coherence between procurement and human rights in international and regional frameworks and initiatives.
