It Starts with An Agenda for Building A Rights-Based Economy.

And it happens Through strategic advocacy

Voice

Climate protectors, human rights defenders, labor organizers, and all people seeking a better future have a right to speak and organize without being silenced by powerful companies and their allies in government. We need all people who want a rights-based economy to be free to speak and advocate, not live in fear that they will be sued into silence or face physical violence.

Power

We will be able to build a rights-based economy if we reign in undue corporate control over policy decisions and regulatory bodies. We seek to build structures that prevent corporate capture and prevent companies from using their power to dismantle accountability infrastructure. Governments should make policy choices that benefit all stakeholders, not just the wealthiest, most connected, or most corrupt.

Accountability

Human rights abuses, labor rights abuses, and environmental destruction will end when there are clear rules for what companies can and cannot do, and credible accountability for violating the rules. We need transparency and traceability systems so that we can see violations when they happen, and we need strong enforcement bodies that can act on that information to hold companies and individuals accountable.
